Remembrance day a day for remembering the brave heroes who died so we could have a happy life with freedom.that is why we have a day to remember on November 11th On remembrance day members of the armed forces (soldiers, sailors) are remembered . The other name for this day is Armistice Day which marks the date and time when they stopped fighting World War 1. on November 11th at 11am in 1918 (the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month). Some 100,000 Canadian soldiers died in the First and Second World Wars.so for one minute on remembrance day we stand up and show are repect to those who gave us freedom and peace.
